Students first identify the emojis that match the adjective, then, they draw their own emoji and write a description of when they feel that way.

Learners write description sentences based on the pictures and words given.

Describing People

Just a set of pictures i used to practice there is / there are with prepositions of place. You can ask your students to ask questions about, answer and create affirmative sentences.

Describing Rooms

Students are asked questions about famous paintings and they also have to figure out place prepositions to describe such paintings. The activity can be done in pairs or whole class.

Describing paintings

Slides get progressively more difficult. Student begins by reading, then progresses slowly to describing the picture on their own. Last slide is a game, where student chooses one car and the other player must guess which car they are thinking of.
