Throughout the lesson, learners will be introduced to a wide range of practical telephone English phrases, which will help them navigate common scenarios encountered during phone calls. Telephone English Phrases

This powerpoint functions as an introduction to how literary history is constructed, and what constitutes a literary movement. It was designed for native-speaking English students at Middle School level, but could work with High Schoolers as well. 



The aim is to get the students to understand how literary movements work, and provide an essential building block for future literary analysis. 



It features an historical overview and basic introduction to The Enlightenment, Romanticism and Realism.



The presentation includes a home learning exercise as well as an in-class task. 



In my class the presentation covered a week's (four) worth of lessons.

PARTS OF A PLANT 

It essentially means that manners make us human and without them, we aren't human.Manners are something used every day to make a good impression on others and to feel good about oneself. No matter where you are - at home, work, or with friends - practicing good manners is important.



Good manners are more than opening doors and writing thank you notes. While opening doors for others and writing notes is nice, true courtesy goes deeper. Being polite and courteous means considering how others are feeling.

MANNERS MAKE THE MAN



 A person is incomplete without the complete family. It plays an essential role in society. Humans are social being and thus needs companionship from others. 



A house will turn into a home with a family, and a family is never done with two individuals. It also includes grandparents, kids, aunties, guardians, and uncles. The idea of family is imported from the west, and the more we are going under their impact, the more we are getting separated from our own Indian framework. It is about time that since we show our kids the importance of family values and influence them to understand it.

The Mystery Of Easter Island ESL Lesson Plan

Presentation about homophones. Students can download and practice the pronunciation of the pairs shown in the slides. Have fun, too.  

Each of two or more words sharing the same sound but different meanings, origins, or spelling.

Understanding homophones is an essential part of mastering the English language, both for vocabulary building and spelling.

Homophones

essentially you see three versions of each slide.  The first is three words, then the same three words with pictures, finally the word that doesn't fit into the group to which the other three belong is circled.  The students are prompted to speak sentences following this structure: "A is not a B"  example: [cat, dog, mouse, Thursday]  "Thursday is not an animal"



There are, naturally, many other ways to group some of the slides so when the student comes up with another creative grouping I give bonus points to their group.  I've very proud of this lesson, it is super fun to teach.  I hope it helps you all.
