this is a game that can be adapted depending on your SS
One SS sits in a chair, not facing the board and another (or all) SS describes the word in the PowerPoint. 
The SS in the chair has to guess the word and/or write down the spelling. 
This can be a team game, a pair game, or single SS game.
The T can sit with weaker SS to help with guessing the words. 
Words can be changed to verbs if needed

A PPT to check kids' knowledge of how to spell animals names after having dealt with the topic. I always have a competition in class. Class is divided into two teams. One student from each team compete at a time and has to be the first one to say which word is "hidden".

I have no idea why no image comes up but the entire file is there, so don't hesitate to download.

I have used a template to create a guessing game and a drill for saxon genitive, practising family vocabulary and saxon genitive. It is a famous TV quiz programme called "Pasapalabra" in Spain.

Students need to guess the word looking at the scrambled letters, if its too difficult for them they can choose letter by letter and it will form the complete word. They can also ask for a clue which will show the picture of the word. To win the game they need to guess the letter before it is complete on the lines.

This is a power presentation to play a game in which the students should play in a team, each team chooses one member to be the guesser, so he/she stands with the presentation at his/her back. The other team members have to give him/her the clues to guess the exact word in the image.

A spelling game where the letters of animals are scrambled, and students must compete to be the first to unscramble the letters and say the animal. 



I have included fifteen animals within three rounds worth different points. Each round is a bit harder than the previous one. 



Usually, I just split the class girl/boy and have students raise hands to guess and earn points for their team. 



This game is a modified version of islcollective user Mulle's "Animal - Guess the Word" powerpoint game.



All credit to that user for the idea. I have used different animals in case you have already used that game. 

Animal Scramble - Guess the Word

You insert the part of the picture. It is better the same picture as your FC, picture you\'ve been already used. If kids are teenagers you can use the picture with same meaning. Write the word by letters, and let kids guess the word by letters. They can do it one bu one, or the way you like them to do it. I tried all the ways of this game.
