HALLOWEEN GUESSING GAME

This is a short slideshow that I use in class.  First I ask the students to recognize the season;  then I ask "How do you know?" and they justify their answer using "There is... / There are...";  it's good for reviewing prepositions and vocabulary.   I hope it works:  I built the slideshow using Open Office, not Word--which I abhor !

Guess the season

Students should guess the animal based on its footprints. It is a simple Powerpoint presentation, first the students see footprints, they have to guess (say or write) which animal they belong to and then comes the slide with the correct animal.

I usually do it in teams and let one person in the team sit in front looking away from the screen while their teammates explain the plot and they guess what it is.

This game is to encourage the students to practice their conversation skills.Two players. The student asks questions related to household chores, describes picture, etc. until he/she guesses the image selected by the other player. Then student change turns and the guessing questions continue.
