English Homophones - For students who always confuse them, but only when they are confusing! It has many pictures which help students a lot as well. It is a fun activity.

It can be used during the classes in Christmas time. It can be performed by children from primary to secondary school as an artistic moment. It contains common homophones.

The words homonym, homophone, and homograph are grammatical terms that are easy to confuse with one another because their meanings are all closely related, so let’s go through each one of them and see what the differences are.



Homonyms can refer to both homographs and homophones.

Homographs are words that are spelled alike but not always pronounced the same.

Student/group chooses a square (click on it to reveal the picture) and then chooses another, trying to match with the first. If they match, the player gets a point and chooses another pair; if they don't match, click on the X to cover the pictures again and it's next player's turn.
