Jeopardy Game # 2 - Verb Tenses

Now you can play a famous quiz game with your students! (elementary)


I made this presentation for the first lesson after summer holidays. You may use it at the end of the school year like revision.


The game is based on HOT SPOT 2 (macmillan) threfore some listening tasks were taken from the book. But you may replace them with your own activities.

Jeopardy Knowledge Game

A PPT with slides having questions students can practise speaking ability on. Students pair up (one student has his/her back on the board and the other faces it reading the question aloud for the student with his/her back on the board to answer. Tell them they have to keep going for 60 seconds. Do five slides then switch seats! Have fun!

5 second rule - Vocabulary game

The speaker has the mouse control. Every time he clicks the mouse he gets a prompt to to speak bout himself. The ppt will help assimilate and practice talking about oneself, introducing oneself or exercises requiring self analysis.

A classic memory game I created from some common emojis. I made it with two rounds in mind, and allowed about three minutes to memorize before having the students write down what they could remember. I actually used this for high school students. They had fun.

Word associations game is very popular in my country. Split your students in two teams. Each team in turn chooses a field and tries to find the solutions to the columns and the key word that connects them. 

The game is a great icebreaker/warmer. I have created this one to introduce crime vocabulary. However, you can choose any topic you wish.
