Imperatives

An imperative is base verb (present simple verb). Imperatives are direct. Imperatives are verbs used to give orders, commands, warning or instructions, and to make a request. 

In this presentation you will find how to use the imperatives in affirmative and negative. As well as, how to form the sentence.  Moreover, you will find some examples.

This powerpoint is useful to introduce how to make imperative sentences in english.

It is suitable for elementary students and for teenagers. you can modify it by adding images to the presentation.

With my learners, I bought some chopsticks in and after doing the activity, they followed the instructions to use the chopsticks to pick up classroom items.

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
