Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Initial Consonant Blends (br, cr, dr, fr, gr, pr, tr)

This presentation is designed to review vocabulary from Starlight 6 coursebook (module 5), mainly on the topic of natural disasters and world problems. It can be used as a warm-up, a test, or it can be assigned as a homework. 

There are also 3 gifs in the presentation (I don't know whether they'll work or not, so there are links in the end of presentation - you can download them and add into the presentation yourself). Teenagers appreciated the gifs, especially the one with the horse. 

Initials - first letter game (Starlight 6, module 5 - Helping hands: world problems, natural disasters)

Speak as much as possible about a given topic (pictures). Students can work in pairs or in bigger groups. If you like, you can use a stopwatch and make students speak for any time given. Students can change groups after some time and share info with their new group.
