This is a PowerPoint to go with the vocab sheet I have on here. The SS have to decide if you can use a phone in certain public places and vote yes or no.
This can be extended by asking 'Why?' if the answer is no.

A worksheet that deals with the uses and abuses of mobile phones (advantages and disadvantages) and the language of messages (abbreviations). It also aims at practising the use of indefinite pronouns

I used this powepoint with a matching actvity where I wrote the words used in the answer section down and they had to define the words.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
