A selection of English ESL photos ppt slides

This powerpoint presentation is a kind of warm-up. But you can also use it for revising emotion vocabulary. First the students have to fill in the appropriate word, then make guesses about the second part of the photo and  at last they say what they can see in it. Hope they’ll have fun!

Students can draw pictures of their family members according to the labels. Then they should present their family photos to the group. One sheet just says the names of the family members and the other has the full sentences they can read aloud. I use this in conjunction with a themed-unit on travel. (See the other worksheets that include the culture card where students can record notes about different countries and their suitcase.)

This interactive powerpoint presentation is a game on things people do. The students have to turn around the coloured boxes to guess what is in the picture within the time limit. Hope you like it. Have a nice week.

Autumn photo challenge to encourage students of all ages to take pictures related to the vocabulary of autumn, and write a small paragraph about their picture. Encourages vocabulary search and creativity !

Wouldn’t it be nice to see just how much your students are imaginative and creative? These photos can be used to inspire critical thinking. Pre-intermediate students can practise past tenses (What has happened? How did it all begin?), whereas intermediate and upper-intermediate students can practise perfect modals (What may/must have happened?).  I’m sure you’ll be surprised at their ideas.
