This poem is a great activity to encourage students to practice pronunciation and learn new words related to health or sickness. You can use any skills such as reading, listening, speaking or writing. Create a similar poem, pair reading following the rhythm, listen and repeat with the correct pronunciation, ask and answer questions about the poem, dramatize the poem, etc. Have fun with your students!

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets
