HALLOWEEN PUZZLES

I was not satisfied with the logic puzzles available for beginners, so i constructed simple ones for my students. These are simple puzzles that the students will get the hang of quickly. 

Logic Puzzles

A power point sudoku game designed for beginners and/or elementary learners of English. it aims at revising basic vocabulary related to summer. Students have to pick the correct picture from the box to complete the sudoku puzzle. I hope you find it useful!

Sudoku puzzle

This interactive powerpoint presentation is a game on things people do. The students have to turn around the coloured boxes to guess what is in the picture within the time limit. Hope you like it. Have a nice week.

This is a lesson I made for an IELTS reading and vocabulary lesson with some A2/B1 high school students. The aim was to show them the issues caused by usury and central banking systems, as they had requested conspiracies as a topic. The story needs some refinement and isn't intended to push partisan views or demonize any particular group of people.  

The Money Puzzle

In the Christmas puzzle flashcard game, students work in groups to arrange mixed-up pieces into a complete Christmas image, discussing related vocabulary and fostering teamwork.

Clcik on the letters or the numbers to move change words.  The idea is to complete the puzzles by forming sentences in the present continuous.  Could be a little hard but not too much so.

It took me a while to figure out how to make a crossword puzzle in PowerPoint, so I decided for a simple one to begin with. If it works for your students, please let me know and I'll prepare others for basic, intermediate and advanced levels.

Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
