Lost in Space - Missing Prepositions

This is a tic-tac-toe game that allows the student to learn vocabulary words based on space travel and adventure. It is a fun game.  In my classes, the winner asks the loser to repeat one of the words up to 10 times.  They also instruct the loser to say the words fast, slow, or sing it.  If the game is a tie we use a spinner to determine the winner.

This is a PPT which takes you from the Sun to the Oort Belt and also introduces basic astronomical concepts. I created this for a bilingual/international school in Shenzhen, China for Chinese kids who could speak English pretty well. 

Space - cool images, essential vocabulary

A simple but detailed breakdown of every astrological body in the solar system. The sun, the planets, moons, comets, asteroids, and dwarf planets. It includes interesting facts and essential vocabulary for learning about the solar system, complete with intriguing visuals and questions to keep students interested. Each slide has an audio file, that reads the text aloud in a natural voice.

Practice the use of synonyms and antonyms with G5 level students, as well as some practice using said vocabulary with some adverbs of frequency along with a scaled chart. 

Adventures in Space -- Synonyms, Antonyms, and Frequency

Click on start (yellow team goes first) and then click on the yellow spaceship to turn the spaceship to point at the spaceship having the correct verb behind it and then click on fire.  You can also hit the 30 second timer after you click on the start button if you desire.  Repeat this for the red spaceship when the red start comes up.  10 questions per slide.  Subtract the misses from the number of hits to determine who wins the game.  Fully animate with sound.
