A simple power point presentation with some exercises to practice so and such. It is focused on its usage to talk about technology but it can work out for any one going through so and such.

We use quantifiers when we want to give someone information about the number of something: how much or how many. Sometimes we use a quantifier in the place of a determiner: Most children start school at the age of five. We ate some bread and butter.

Have the class take notes on the different uses of so / such / too / enough with the relevant examples. Depending on the level of your class, you can either have them complete the exercises with a personal white board, or ask students individually to try to change the sentence verbally. Sometimes it helps to give them prompters like the first word of the new sentence.

I prepared this ppt to help my students understand clauses of result with so/such...that, as well as the use of ´too´ and ´enough´ (adverbs of degree). I tried to give some clear explanations with many examples. (11 slides)

I gave this lecture today at a Chinese University about how the English Language has developed since Celtic times, the good thing is we can now hear these languages because of "bard core" on YouTube where these talented vocalists do covers of modern songs in archaic languages, eating, Norse, Old English and like my thumbnail Pumped Up Kicks in Anglos Saxon. I have added the link so you can download my PPT if you want to do it. Had to strip out the videos, but all the YouTube Links are there in the right places for you to use. I think the students enjoyed it.
