This is PART TWO of three!  Divide your class into teams and project this fun food quiz.  Questions range from simple food vocabulary to crazy food around the world.  This is an excellent activity to generate conversation.

A wonderful game for elementary and intermediate level, students can see two pictures and need to guess on word, engaging, fun and good for vocabulary expanding.

A short overview of the sentence structure in English. I believe that if students visualise something, they will understand it better and acquire easier. This is mostly done for students to see how to form a passive sentence for both objects.

Verbs with two objects

Based on the game played on Jimmy Fallon. 

Two teams are created and players have to give their team or partner a one word hint in the hopes that they guess the password. If they don't 1 of 5 points is deducted and it's the next teams turn. Both teams go back and forth until one person guesses the password or points get to zero.

Good for word association and getting kids to use an array of vocabulary.

This is a warmer activity for students who have started to do work on comparatives and are aware of how to form a comparative sentence.



The pictures should be printed off and put on the tables for the students to see and then the students use the comparatives on the board to write sentences about the pictures.



Please change dates, comparatives etc to suit your class and level.



My students have yet to move onto comparatives using more than one syllable to that is why I have chosen the comparatives that are in the PowerPoint.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
