This worksheet is intended to practise giving warnings and advice about dangerous situations. It is intended to revise structures used for giving warnings and advice such as: I wouldn't do that if I were you., You shouldn't do that., You could get + past participle, etc.

In this powerpoint I used a bunch of actual zoo signs that warn visitors not to feed the birds, stick their fingers in the lion's cage, etc. I wrote a Conditional 1. warning to go with each picture. First, students have to guess the warning, then on the next click my sentence is displayed. Students had fun with this slide when I used it in class. Bless up, Kisdobos

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
