My weekend

My busy weekend

It's a speaking activity using ppt where Ss can revise the vocabulary, the expressions then they have to put sentences in the correct order to make dialogues and make dialogues in pairs using pictures and words. Hope it will be useful.

This PowerPoint can be used to show students examples of sentences using past simple. Then the students can make their own presentation about what they did over the weekend using the past simple.

It is a presentation used for speaking, usually in the beginning of a lesson. You can find here different (usually) one/two pictures and students discuss which one is better, more suitable etc. for them or for some situations.

A tool to facilitate speaking using the present simple tense. Students interview a partner about their weekends and then tell the class. I encourage partners to answer in full sentences using the present tense :)

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
