This lesson teaches key vocab and concepts about foreign currency exchange.  Students will learn about related vocab, expressions, and question such as "dollars", "pounds", "I'd like to make an exchange", etc. 

Forex (Foreign Exchange) 

Students have to guess the idiom according to the images. 

An Idiom is a group of words in a fixed order that have a particular meaning that is different from the meanings of each word on its own.

An activity to practice forming questions and negative responses.  There are 2 parts to the activity.  The first is done with the class as a whole (and a script is provided.)  This is followed with a "Your Turn" component where the students work in pairs to create their own scripts.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
