Современный подход к обучению чтению по ФГОС второго поколения 
Методы обучения чтению 
Для большинства взрослых людей чтение — естественный процесс, в котором непросто выделить элементы, из которых он состоит. И при этом для большинства детей обучение чтению — это процесс, требующий упорства и усилий. Помните, как трудно было научиться читать? Произносить букву, одну за другой, удерживая их последовательность в голове и пытаясь понять, что это за слово, потом таким же образом читать следующее слово. Все усилия уходят на то, чтобы прочитать одно единственное слово, и когда ребенок читает следующее слово, он нередко забывает предыдущее. Попробуйте перевернуть книгу вверх ногами и прочитать ее. Неправда ли, трудно? Немногое из прочитанного удаётся запомнить, и как следствие, читать становится неинтересно. А ведь, умение хорошо читать в ранние годы помогает развить важную «привычку» читать на всю жизнь. Зная всё это, множество методистов пытаются понять механизмы чтения, придумать способ легко научиться читать. 
Давайте разберемся, какие на данный момент существуют методы обучения чтению, и к каким результатам они приводят. 
ФОНЕТИЧЕСКИЙ ПОДХОД 
Фонетический подход основан на алфавитном принципе. В основе метода обучение фонетике - произношению букв и звуков, затем их учат складывать в слоги, а потом и в слова. 
Метод Мура (Moore, George Edward) (1873-1958) 
обучает ребенка буквам и звукам. Он вводит ребенка в лабораторию, где стоит специальная печатная машинка, произносящая звуки или названия символов, когда на них нажимаешь. Так ребенок выучивает названия букв и символов (знаков препинания и цифр). Следующий шаг — ребенку показывают серии букв или символов на экране, и он их набирает на такой же печатной машинке, и машинка произносит эти серии, например, короткие простые слова. Затем ребёнка просят писать, читать и печатать слова и предложения. Также этот метод включает устную речь, слушание и письмо под диктовку. 
1870 - 1952 
Метод Монтессори (Марии, Италия) 
Монтессори давала детям буквы алфавита и обучала их идентифицировать их, писать и произносить. Позже, когда дети научались соединять звуки в слова, она учила их соединять слова в значащие предложения. 
1901 –1985 
Алфавит для начального обучения чтению на английском языке (ITA) initial teaching alphabet 
Джеймс Питман – британский общественный деятель a spelling reformer. 
расширил английский алфавит до 44 букв так, чтобы каждая буква произносилась только одним способом, то есть чтобы все слова читались так, как они пишутся. Заглавные буквы в этом расширенном алфавите пишутся так же, как и маленькие, только более крупным шрифтом. По мере освоения ребенком чтения, буквы заменялись на обычные. 
ЛИНГВИСТИЧЕСКИЙ ПОДХОД 
При таком подходе детей обучают как можно большему количеству слов. Обучение чтению при этом подходе основывается именно на этих словах, которые уже "на слуху" у ребенка. 
Один из исследователей процесса чтения Джеймс Каттел показал, что если людям демонстрировать в течение короткого времени слова или ряд букв, то слова воспринимаются лучше. Исследования движения глаз во время чтения показывают, что хотя люди и замечают каждую букву как отдельный символ, они обычно воспринимают все буквы в слове одновременно. 
1919—2013 
Метод Гленна Домана = Метод «look-say» = метод «whole-word» (метод целых слов). 
– американский врач-физиотерапевт, автор восстанавливающих методик для детей с поражениями нервной системы и обучающих методик для всех детей. 
 
Метод «целых слов» заключается в том, что детей обучают распознавать слова как целые единицы, и не объясняют буквенно-звуковых соотношений. Обучение по этому методу строится по принципу визуального распознавания целых слов. В этом методе не учат ни названиям букв, ни буквенно-звуковому соотношению. Для того, чтобы научить читать, ребенку показывают целые слова и произносят их, то есть учат ребенка узнавать слова как целое, не дробя их на буквы и слоги. После того, как ребенок таким образом выучит около 50-100 слов, ему дают тексты, в которых эти слова часто встречаются. Доман утверждал, что увидев несколько раз написанное слово, ребенок навсегда запомнит как оно пишется и сам выведет правила чтения. 
Метод «whole-language» 
В чем-то эта методика напоминает метод whole-word, но больше полагается на языковой опыт ребенка. Например, детям дают книгу с увлекательным сюжетом и предлагают детям прочесть ее. Дети читают, встречают незнакомые слова, и о смысле этих слов детям предлагают догадываться с помощью контекста или иллюстраций, но не через произношение этих слов вслух. Для того, чтобы стимулировать любовь к чтению, детям предлагают писать рассказы. 
Одна из целей подхода whole-language — сделать процесс чтения приятным. Одна из характерных особенностей этого метода — что фонетические правила не должны объясняться обучающимся читать. Связь между буквами и звуками выучивается через процесс чтения, неявным путем. Если ребенок читает слово не правильно — его не исправляют. Философский взгляд этого учения в том, что обучение чтению, как и освоение разговорного языка — естественный процесс и дети способны сами его постичь. 
Метод чтения Ильи Михайловича Франка (1963) 
это специальный способ адаптации текста, который способствует пассивному освоению языка. Вот, например, книга «Путешествия Гулливера». Если открыть любую страницу этой книги, то можно увидеть, что текст повести разбит на небольшие отрывки. Сначала идет адаптированный отрывок — текст с вкрапленным в него дословным русским переводом и небольшим лексико-грамматическим комментарием. Затем следует тот же текст, но уже неадаптированный, без подсказок. 
Для реализации перечисленных методов требуется очень много времени и усилий. 
1939 - Метод Зайцева (Николай Александрович) (КУБИКИ) 
Как единицу строения языка Зайцев определил склад. Склад — это пара из согласной с гласной. Эти склады Зайцев написал на гранях кубиков. Кубики он сделал различными по цвету и размеру. Пользуясь этими складами (каждый склад находится на отдельной грани кубика), ребенок начинает составлять слова. 
В настоящее время наиболее эффективным считается 
ФОНОЛОГИЧЕСКИЙ ПОДХОД 
Он максимально близок к естественному пути развития ребенка - ведь даже говорить малыши начинают слогами, а не буквами или словами. 
Так ли необходим алфавит? 
Конечно, можно научиться читать, не зная букв алфавита. Было проведено множество исследований и оказалось, что знание букв является очень хорошим предсказанием того, что у ребенка будут быстрые успехи в чтении. Способность детей произносить звуки букв перед обучением чтению также предсказывает ранний успех в чтении. Так же существует потребность в умении называть слово по буквам (имя, фамилия, улица) 
Текст и картинка 
Уиллоус, Борвик, Хэйврен провели такой эксперимент. Они учили читать детей с помощью предъявления карточек со словами. Детей разделили на две группы: первой группе показывали карточки, содержащие картинку и слово, второй группе предъявляли карточки, содержащие только слово. Каждую группу обучали одним и тем же четырем словам. Когда группы выучили эти четыре слова, т. е. правильно называли слова по карточкам, обе группы соединили вместе. Исследователи смешали карточки со словами и показывали соединенной группы и карточки со словами с картинками, и карточки, содержащие только слова. Выяснилось, что те дети, которых учили читать по карточкам с картинками, лучше читают слова на карточках с картинками и хуже — те же слова, но на карточках без картинок по сравнению с теми детьми, которых учили по карточкам без картинок. Дети, которых учили читать с помощью карточек со словами, но без картинок, лучше читали слова на карточках без картинок, по сравнению с детьми, которых учили по карточкам с картинками, но хуже читали слова на карточках с картинками. 
Получается, что обратная сторона полезности картинок — это понижение внимания к напечатанному тексту (к буквам). Таким образом, если мы видим цель в том, чтобы помочь ребенку прореагировать на незнакомое слово (увидеть его образ) — то картинки помогают, а если же цель в том, чтобы привлечь внимание ребенка непосредственно к написанию слова — то картинки мешают. 
Существует ли методика обучения чтению, подходящая для всех языков? 
Структуры разных языков отличаются друг от друга, какие-то больше, какие-то меньше. И методика обучения чтению должна быть подогнана под особенности той структуры языка, чтению на котором мы обучаем, однако есть важные элементы, из которых состоит чтение, и их надо освоить каждому, кто хочет научиться хорошо читать.
