The tasks includes and extract from TV series "Bodyguard". There are nine examples focusing on the difference between the Past Simple and Past Perfect tense. The task requires the students to unscramble sentences (Past Simple alone, Past Simple vs Past Perfect; after, by the time, before). The video is intended for high school students.

Ask your students what the most memorable scene from the extract is. Then, divide students into groups and ask them to create a few sentences to recreate the story. If your students are creative, you may ask them to provide pictures which depict their sentences. Their story should be created with the use of the Past Simple and Past Perfect tenses. 

Before you start watching the quiz, remind your students the use of the Past Simple and Past Perfect tense. Remind them how to use: before, after, by the time with these tenses. Ask them to choose one word (before, after, by the time) and create a sentence with the Past Simple and Past Perfect tense..
