Students need to fill in the blanks with the affirmative form of 'be' and other verbs in the Simple Present Tense (third person singular or plural). A few sentences include 'there is'. A few sentences require the students to identify the subject of the sentence (e.g., one of the firecrackers) in order to choose the correct form of the verb.  Some vocabulary is explained.
