You could follow the last question about predicting what will happen into a short writing task. The students decide what happened either to the octopuses or to the delivery man. They could alternatively write a story about the seagull's morning.

Ask the students what shops they can find around town. Elicit bakery, butcher, etc. and pre-teach fishmonger and fish shop.

Ask them how meat and fish and veggies get from the farm or the sea to our shops.

Put students in pairs and have them talk about which shops they or their families visit each week.

After the discussion, ask them if they have ever heard of Paul, the octopus that became known as an oracle for making accurate predictions in the 2010 World Cup. Teach the association of oracle with ancient greece.
