I think the level of these words are above B1, but as the video makes the meanings quite clear and easy to guess, I can easily picture this video quiz used in intermediate (B1) level lessons, as well.

Creative writing. Get students to make up a story about the one survivor seen at the end and another imaginary one, whose lives collide in space, on a spaceshuttle or another planet. They should also narrate how their life goes on in this post-apocalyptic world, where they find a new home, etc. Alternatively, you can also ask for a dialog between the two survivors that occurs when they meet.

Put students in small groups and ask them to brainstorm ideas in 5 minutes about faraway planets that host some sort of life. Imagine the creatures and their life on these planets.

Have students share these ideas with the whole group and get feedback on them from the others.

Tell the class that they are going to watch a short film about a delivery to a distant planet.
