This is a script students can use involving an emergency room scenario.  One student is the patient and the other student is the ER employee/Dr. Smith.  The students then switch roles.

At the ER

worksheet for students to practice using comparative and superlatives  (er and est) to compare characters they know. Students complete information gap and write their own ideas with the information in the box

the letters "er", "ir" and "ur"  often make a smiliar sound . It becomes hard for reader to remember their spellings. This worksheet can be used as an reinforcement or simply as a test for them.

Answer key is included. header is completely up to you. i always like to give my kids homeschooling as a real school which has the name. :)

The suffixes -er and -est can be added to adjectives when we are comparing things or people. With this year 2 worksheet, children complete the sentences by adding er or est to the adjectives. There are 12 sentences to complete and an answer sheet is included for quick marking. This handy literacy activity can be used at home or in the classroom and will help improve your child's literacy skills.

Suffixes -er or -est Ending?

A short worksheet destined for middle schoolers. It is about the comparative form of adjectives. There are long forms, short forms and irregulars. If you know my worksheets you know my philosophy: drilling makes perfect.
