There are two activities. The first one is a controlled practice and the second one is freer practice. Students have to complete the questions, interview a friend ad then teacher asks for feedback.

Fun communication activity, designed to get your pupils talking. Mine loved it! Listening to information to guess who is being talked about. Giving information about someone. Asking information to guess who the person is. Answering using short answers. Practising the verb to be, present tense, 3rd person singular. Positive/Negative/interrogative forms. Easy vocabulary.

a lesson which focuses  on describing the weather, making suggestion,  making adjectives from nouns and identifying months and seasons.   

What's the weather like?

Vocabulary activity for elementary school pupils (grades 2 to 5/6). Intended as a further development of previous food vocabulary activity. It helps you teach food vocabulary as well as structures (verb BE + adjectives good and bad).

Students reorder the colours and write them correctly, then colour the picture. In the second activity they colour by the code and write some sentences to describe both pictures, I hope yopu like it! ( it's useful to revise colours, adjectives, body and possesive case).

Talking about emotions

This worksheet was made as an extra activity when you teach or revise the topic 'Clothes". It consists of four exercises. The answer key is provided on page two.

Clothes (vocabulary)

Go through the different categories (which are all suggestions). Can they come up with other categories, or even better, other suggestions for adjectives than the ones already mentioned?

Also, the twelve pictures can be matched with one or more of the categories – which one(s)?

Can they make twelve “perfect” matches?

Let them work individually, in pairs/groups (discussion/dialogue), and maybe you can have a class discussion when finished.

This activity involves working in pairs. One person chooses one picture when the other is allowed to ask 3 (or 4) questions in order to guess the picture. After a few rounds the one with more correct guesses wins the game.

This one starts the same way as my exercises for SWOT analysis and the job-search worksheets but it also has a debate at the end with debating cards included. Good practice for students of business English or geeks that love TV shows. There is an answer key for the final mix and match exercise but everything is pretty subjective. Be prepared to field questions on vocab after each student reads their sections aloud in class.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
