Describing Appearances Workbook

From ESL Pals, this amazing ESL describing people lesson plan starts with a fun warm-up vocabulary game. Secondly, students move on to a vocabulary exercise that teaches them words related to a person's physical appearance.



Next, learners discover how to describe a person's height, weight and age. This section uses pictures and innovative activities to teach it. Fourthly, facial and hair describing words are taught, before the participants are given ample opportunity to practice.



 After that, ESL students will learn how to describe clothes using the verb ‘wear’ - there are multiple exercises within this section. Next, is a reading activity with comprehension questions, in the text students will see how to use their newly-acquired language in a natural way.
