This worksheet presents some pictures of transports (real pictures) so the students can get familiarized with new content/vocabulary. Great for students who want to expand their vocabulary. It can be also be used for dictation exercises as well as writing / oral practice. If you have a higher-level group of students, this worksheet can also be used as a little game, e.g. adding the transport an adjective. (yellow bus, fast car, noisy fire engine, etc...)

Students read about the story of Thanksgiving and they plan their own Thanksgiving dinner (preparation, menu, thank-you notes for their guests...) using structures such as There is/are, There isn't/aren't, a/an, some, any, etc, and the vocabulary about food and utensils (that they should know from before).



The idea is that they can really carry out this project in real life and show how good cooks and thankful people they are! :)



I have uploaded a PPT version so that anyone can change anything in order to adapt it to the students' needs and interests.
