Print only once. You play using game cards, a student takes a card and answer the corresponding questions. The answers must be logical and complete (using the leaned structure  a cockroach is weaker than a mouse, for example). If the answer is accepted (the student has the opportunity to justify the answer) s/he keeps the card; if s/he gets it wrong, s/he puts the card back under all the cards.

Three exercises for practicing comparative and superlative degrees. In the first part they will write the right forms of the given adjectives. In the 2nd part they will write the copmarison forms of the adjs. In the last part they will make questions and answer them by using superlative forms.

This is yet another humorous worksheet which I wrote some time ago on the topic of comparatives. This time, I teach "more" and "less" including with verbs, and in structures such as "the more I..., the less I." This could be useful. I have several other documents about comparatives. I was in a rivalry with my elder brother in my early years ;-)

Comparison of Adjectives. Students will learn how to compare two people or things doing these activities. You will find two exercises. Addessed to people at an A2 level according to the CEFR.

A sheet of paper to sum up the rules of comparatives and superlatives. Can be used for pre- intermediate or beginners. You can use it after the explanation before a game as examples.

Comparative and superlative

Students can write the meaning of the adjective and they will tick the correct form of adjectives. It contains only short and long adjectives not the irregular ones.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
