Endangered Species and Ecology

My students complain that ecology is a very boring topic. To help them survive another lesson about it, I have prepared a set of 22 "crazy" questions concerning ecology, e.g. ´Deforestation is a serious problem nowadays. Would you agree to use reusable toilet paper to solve it?´ This task can also be used to practise 2nd conditional.

These exercises are aimed at making students' speech logically correct and comprehensive.



The material represents a preparation for the presentation whick is to be made at an important conference. The exercises are meant to help students structure their speech and transfer some piece of knowledge to the audience. Each exercise is devoted to a certain part of speech: an introduction, a main part and a conclusion. Several aspects are trained here: speaking, reading comprehension, summary of the information thus consumed. 



Though the worksheet is based on the official requirements to the oral part of the examination, this will definetely be helpful for all the pre-intermediate and intermediate students who wish to know how to be able to speak on the topic of environmental problems.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
