This is a worksheet to focus on the use of simple past tense, especially for students who are struggling with irregular verbs. A gap fill exercise for Chrstmas using the song from the popular British singer Leona Lewis. The page is not adorned with Christmas pictures but as it´s on Word you can add any pictures if you want, I´ve left it blank so it´s easier to print. Also you can remove other words or put wirds in if you think it´s too difficult for your students. I used it in a B2 group and they managed nearly every word. 

After completing, I ask the students questions about the song such as who is she singing to and when is he going to arrive (Christmas Day!).
