I have created this worksheet as addition to the London domino game from the author Teufel. There are more places and famous sights to recognize and some more facts about London like Hyde Park, Nelsons Column, Eurostar, tube etc.

A simple addition worksheet for young children getting to grips with basic math. The objective is to count the planets, add them together and fill in the blanks. 

Space Addition 

This worksheet is meant to make children become proficient in spelling numbers 1 to 10. It consists of 6 exercises that involve not only spelling but also maths skills like addition and subtraction.

These are like the flash cards I put up before, but they are smaller and used for a different game. This is a speaking/matching game, so only print one set. The aim of this game is to practice vocabulary. These cards are made specifically for Japanese STS, but the cards are fully editable so you can replace the Japanese with whatever language is useful to you. Every ST will receive ONE card. The point is for each student to find the match to their card, showing comprehension. The STS walk around and find a partner. They rock, paper, scissors to see who will ask the question. The speaker will ask "Are you a month?" or "Are you a day?". The STS must answer "Yes, I am." or "No, I am a month/day." If the answer is "yes", the speaker then asks "Are you _____ (whatever is on the card)?". The STS must then answer "Yes, I am." or "No, I am not." If the answer is "yes", the STS stay paired and check with the teacher. If the answer is "no", the STS find a new partner. The size of the class controls how much vocabulary you can use, but you may have the time to do the game again with different cards/vocabulary. Also, the teacher may have to be a match for someone. This is a complete set of 38 cards. If you have more than 38 STS, maybe you can use them as pair checkers or print an additional set. I created this game because I noticed some students were still having problems remembering the English, even when asked in their own language. I made this for more practice. It was a big hit with my students screaming, "One more time." The cards are to be PRINTED ON B4 sized paper, otherwise you have to resize it. Thanks to Phillip Martin for the clipart. Simple vocabulary and colours for primary students it can be used as an addition to Genki English lesson on Happy Halloween.

Words used: bat, skeleton, witch, vampire, wand, broom, mummy, scarecrow.

Print, cut and laminate pictures. I use them in different ways.

1. The youngest children take a picture and just say a correct pronoun (he / she / it / they).

2.  Older students make sentences using 'to be' (for ex. Fiona is a beautiful princess).

3. Students describe pictures (learning the clothes and colors).

Rules: students take a card and do the task. If they are correct, they save the card. If their sentence has a mistake, they put the card back. I often give more points if one student has some pictures from one movie (2 or 3 pictures of Fiona, for example). It encourages student to continue game even if their answer isn't not correct (they still have a chance to win due to additional points). 

My students like these games and some of them propose also they ideas how to use these card.

Ss need to identify numbers, read the words and complete the matching activity. Can be used as an additional or warming up activity in your classroom as well as a part of Ss' homework.

Using four zoo-type animals, students will practice concept of  "before" and "after", in addition to practicing ordinal numbers 1 - 4. Students read sentences describing position of animals. Teacher can elaborate asking questions of students regarding order of animals.
