This worksheet gives students practice with in, at and on for locations. 

in/at/on - for places

Students can practise their knowledge about certain collocations with adjectives/prepositions. The worksheet is a grammar drill and the students must write a preposition in the circles that goes with the three adjectives listed.

Adjective and Prepostion Collocations 1

1. The objective of this worksheet is to get the students to read and understand the lexical aspect of a text about the guidelines for an authentic approach to eating.

2. It is mainly a gap-fill exercise  with follow-up T/F, multiple-choice and short answer tasks with a focus on collocations rather than single words.

3. The tasks were created using Quizlet and Oxford Text Checker.

4. There is a key.

5. I would advise using these exercises as a springboard for further discussion. It is also advisable to adapt it to the needs and level of the students.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
