CARNIVAL MIMING GAME

There are 23 cards with instructions on what the person miming should do. The audience is trying to guess what exactly is written on the strip. The objective of this game is to practise asking questions in the present continuous tense in a relaxed fun atmosphere. I am going to use it as a wrap-up activity before the Christmas holidays.

Christmas MIme Cards

Cut the cards and put them face down on the desk. Students come to the desk one by one and pick the card. Students mime what is on the card and other students guess.

You can use flash cards to play little game about present continuous.  



For example, separate students into teams and ask volunteer to act what is said in the card. The winner is a team who answer or guess the most correct answers.

Cut the cards and put them face down on your desk.

Make students come one by one and mime what's on the card. 

First, he/she mimes who she is. The others guess. After that, hey guess the activity and the signal word or adverbs used for pr simple/continuous.
