FORTUNE CATCHER (TELLER). I saw for the first time this game in France, so I´m not really sure about the correct name, but I loved it!!! Now I prepared this one to review in a funny way the COLORS, NUMBERS and PARTS OF THE BODY. First sts have to color it. They have to choose between IS or ARE and the PARTS OF THE BODY to ask to their partners "What color is/are your : arms, hands, eye...? ".Sts say a number and the answers will be the colors. :D

What time is it, please? Two board games to practise the key vocabulary and expressions about telling the time. Roll a dice, move the number of spaces and read aloud the time shown on the clock. The first player to complete the board wins!

This is a very basic matching activity for figuring out ordinals. Students are able to match most of these by themselves even before explaining much. Before this activity I usually play a little number race game - students stand in a circle and then count one-by-one up to some number we've learned so far. Then, I draw a queue at a shop, elicit 'Tom is number 1...' and then adding 'Tom is the first' and so on.
