MARK'S DAILY ROUTINE

In this worksheet you will find four exercises to practise/review tenses in the past: past simple and continuous, past perfect and present perfect. The students have to fill in the gaps with the correct tense. The key to the exercises is included. I hope it is useful.

Here is a series a mini texts about Jack the Ripper, his victims and the atmosphere in London at the end of the 19th century.

Each student has only one text and the complete worksheet to work on his/her own and then we do the correction with some Powerpoint presentations I made myself.

JACK THE RIPPER (Reading activity)

There are speaking cards on the topic Pocket money. It's a good exercise for warming-up at the beginning of the lesson. These are questions which can be answered in several questions.

Test - revision

It's a perfect worksheet for Brazilian students who are beginners and for children. The vocabulary is very easy. There is an exercise in the first page. The students need to conjugate the verbs in brackets in the correct form. In the second and third page, you'll find a list of all important verbs that the students usually learn. 

Simple Present Sentences

The worksheet has got 2 parts - the text with the highlighted words on the topic "daily routine" and the same text but with the gaps to fill in. It's used to practise the Prsent Simple.

Present Perfect

This gap filling activity allows for building up skills in using five most commonly used irregular verbs through completing five short question - answer exchanges. These short dialogues can be role-played by learners. Answer sheet is included.
