This is a useful ws to practice writing words that sound aloke. Sometimes words with the long 'a' sound the same but their spelling is different. Students have to fill in the blanks using the right homophone.

Color the pictures that has A as their beginning sound. Leave the words that aren't starting with A and just color the ones that starts with letter the letter indicated on the worksheet.
