This worksheet aims to help learners practise the use of articles (a, an, the). There are three short texts. Students have to use appropriate articles to complete the texts. 

Articles (a, an, the)

This worksheet is suitable for high proficiency level of Year 5@11 years old Malaysian pupils. It is specially designed for KSSR Malaysian English syllabus. I hope by sharing this, you can give me suggestion to improve this worksheet. Thank you!

Article A, An, The

This is an articles worksheet in which students must complete sentences by choosing the correct article. I will be using this with my A1 students. I hope it is of use to you. 

Articles (a/an/the)

Students have to complete the sentences with the correct article (if necessary). It is recommended that students are already familiar with the Past Simple and the Present Perfect Tense before they are given this exercise (as there are sentences containing mixed tenses). 

Students need to read the text and fill in the articles in the blanks ("a", "an", "the" or "-"). Then they need to complete two tasks with articles. In the first one you need to write out the articles from the text, in the second one you need to choose one of the suggested aroticles.

This worksheet has been created to revise the already learnt basic expressions and the article which is or is not used with them. The Ss make the sentences full and the teacher explains why the article is or is not used.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
