ACTION VERBS

The worksheet is about common everyday actions that people do. Pupils would choose the right word for the each picture that best describes the action. Then they will select 10 action words and use them in meaningful sentences.

Students have to match the verbs to the pictures. Further step > students include each verb in a sentence, I usually do it orally.

This is a list of simple action verbs I put together. The game is the same as charades, but instead of guessing books or films, the students are guessing the actions. I hope this comes in useful! 

Action Charades

This activity is aimed at five or six-years-old students. It is an exercise based on vocabulary related to everyday, common actions. Children have to match the words to the pictures. Once they have done it, the copy can be used to study.
