The students have to respond to the given statements using neither/nor, so + auxiliary verb. The objective is for students to circle or underline the verb in the sentence, identify the tense, and use the corresponding auxiliary.

They are first given the tools to express their opinions, agree or disagree, followed by controlled conversation practice and finally freer group work and a whole class activity.
