Aladdin questionnaire

This exercise contains vocabulary from the story of Aladdin. Link of the video is in the document. Words from the video are explained in English and students practice reading and translating at the same time. I also asked students to add their own examples using the words from the exercise. I also added examples of words used in sentences. There is also an exercise at the end with the key. When we revised the vocabulary I asked them to tell me the meaning of the words in their own words or just use my explanations which is also a good practice for speaking lessons. If students feel more confident they can use this vocabulary and retell the story using  the new vocabulary.

A Whole New World - Aladdin

Students are going to guess the words on the third column,ccording to the definition. Then, they listen to the song and fill in the gaps. The song is from the live-action version.

I use these bingo cards with my young learners. I laminate the cards and use whiteboard markers to be able to use them over and over again. First I call out the names to make it easier for them, e.g.: Jasmine and Aladdin are flying.

Then to make it more difficult, I’ll just say: They are flying., She is running., etc.

You can play it as regular bingo or ask them to mark any 5 squares and they win when all 5 have been called out by the teacher.

If you need more cards, I can send you the original file in excel format, which you will be able to edit.
