Hi, at first I didn't want to deal with the subject then some of my pupils online expressed their desire to talk about the experience of confinement as it has a sort of soothing effect for them and us all , so they can read and write. A great activity for first lessons.  Students must go around the room to find people who match each square (squares include things like "I have a pool" and "I am left-handed.")  The first student to get five squares in a row will win the game.  If your class is big enough you can also have students continue until the whole sheet is filled.  Very good for getting students comfortable with each other in a new environment.  A great way to get to know your students!

First Day Ice Breaker Bingo

Irregular Verbs Game - Name The Past Tense and Participle

For this worksheet, students had to act as if they were a radio presenter. They first had to decipher and then reconstitute the small ads from their abbreviations. They had to reuse the vocabulary seen in class, as well as that in the toolbox. The presentation had to be fluent.
