First go over questions to make plans and both positive and negative responses.  ie "Let's go swimming" or "Why don't we see a movie?" "Sure, sounds good."  "Sorry, I can't." etc.  The students secretly put their battleships in their oceans, and get into pairs.  They attack by trying to make plans on the given days, and the partner responds based on whether they hit or missed the battleship.

It includes useful language for reserving an appointment, talking about your symptoms to the doctor, receiving treatment or advice from the doctor, receiving prescriptions, and more. This list could be used for various class activities like Speaking drills, role-play activities, writing dialogues, or scripts. And is rather useful for those who aim to improve their day-to-day conversations in English.

Students read about the story of Thanksgiving and they plan their own Thanksgiving dinner (preparation, menu, thank-you notes for their guests...) using structures such as There is/are, There isn't/aren't, a/an, some, any, etc, and the vocabulary about food and utensils (that they should know from before).



The idea is that they can really carry out this project in real life and show how good cooks and thankful people they are! :)

I´m really fond of typography so I used different fonts but I´m not sure you´ll see them, if you want I can send you the .pdf file with the original fonts, they´re really worthwile ...
