A selection of English ESL beach printables

This is the writing task for B1-B2 English students that is aimed at encourging the learner to tell about their beach vacation in writng. It consists of a list of questions ad well as collocations  related to the subject.

Well, well well the olidays are comiing at least here in the northern hemisphere , so some worksheets  to learn or revise beach vocbulary, third a crossword puzzle with a hidden message (KEY INCLUDED), flip flop , beach toys

Here is a great scene, with exercises. There is a gap fill and a true or false and then they have to add 'ing' to the verbs. There is a full key included. Wish I was one of those ladies propping up the bar!;-))

I think a good use of this worksheet is to do some dictionary work. Look up the meanings, then tick the image. Also, put the vocabulary items into alphabetic order. Useful for fast finishers.

Learners taking the C1 Advanced exam should be able to: Express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
