This worksheet is for young learners, A1-A2 level. You can use this at the end of the lesson as a game. Show the picture for about 1 minute. Then ask the students questions about it.
Or you can ask the children to make 5 questions each and ask a partner.
Directions and examples for the teachers are included.



Picture description - At the beach

Students get to know the story of Janet and her birthday party. After reading the text, students hav togive short answers to text - related questions. Then they can do a crosswords with words from the text and make the plural forms of words. In the end students make their own list of picnic items.

This is a short story for beginners. It tells about the things the family does at the beach. There are coloring assignments for comprehension,  words for training words pertaining to family, jumble words and a word search. Have fun!
