Song activity to help with the irregular and regular verbs in the simple past form, with a nice and fun song by Florence and The Machine. Simple to use, just wait until the students complete the blanks with the appropriate form of the verbs and play the song to correct it. If time allows, use the lyrics for further discussion.

This worksheet is based on the cartoon Bird and Kip Episode 1 by Little Fox. Students watch the video and fill in the blanks.  It is a listening activity. The other tasks are: name the picture and fill in the missing letters.

This task is meant to be done once the pupils have worked enough on the song by singing and dancing it. You have to cut the bird out and glue both sides of the body but leaving the wings separate. Then, you glue the song lyrics on one side of the bird's body.
