I use these bingo cards with my young learners. I laminate the cards and use whiteboard markers to be able to use them over and over again. First I call out the names to make it easier for them, e.g.: Jasmine and Aladdin are flying.

Then to make it more difficult, I’ll just say: They are flying., She is running., etc.

You can play it as regular bingo or ask them to mark any 5 squares and they win when all 5 have been called out by the teacher.

If you need more cards, I can send you the original file in excel format, which you will be able to edit.



BINGO for young learners - present continuous with Disney

I've made these as a game to practice some of the most used comparatives (cheaper, more difficult, larger, more expensive etc.). You may play however you like. I usually use them along with a Ladders and Snakes board (everytime a student stops at a ladder or snake square, they must answer one of these questions. If they're at a ladder square and the answer is correct, they may go up. If wrong, they stay where they are. However, if they're at a snake square and the answer is correct, they stay where they are, but if it's wrong, they have to go down). Have fun!

You need a dice: Throw the dice the first time and match the number with the colum then throw the dice again and match the number with the row then answer the question.

Boardgame - Jobs and Their Responsibilities

It's a boardgame to practise the past simple tense. a set of conversations cards to play with the game. Perfect to practise affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences in the past.

The title says it all. Sts have to come up with questions for the given answers on the board. Some might be a little challenging so they've got to use their imagination. I hope it's useful for some of you. Please let me know if spot an error. Happy teaching.

Make the question (boardgame)

Just have the students roll the dice taking turns. Have the students read the phrases in each box and transform the verbs in brakets into the past simple tense form.

the simple past tense snake

This is an easier version of a board game I previously made. The game requies  at least two players. It could be used as a warm up, at the beginning of the course but also as a review. Dice & counters needed, or a coin (head - 1, tails - 2, or the other way round). Questions are in the simple present. You can adapt the game easily. Enjoy!!!

A reading activity with wh-questions. It can be used as a boardgame going around the board in order to get points if you can answer correctly or as a simple reading comprehension.

This is PART 3 and the last one of a typical snakes and ladders boardgame with vocabulary about daily routine, household chores and free time activities.

Students have to make a sentence with the vocabulary on the square they land on. I've uploaded 4 boards in 3 PARTS because of the size of the files. But you should join the into only one big board.

If you want to make the game more challenging you will also find:

- a subject pronoun dice. Students have to make a sentence not only with the vocabulary provided but also with the pronoun they get.

- A dice that tells them whether they have to make an affirmative sentence, negative, yes/no question or information question.
