Guy Fawkes : A bomb in Parliament

Here is another  text relating the story of Guy Fawkes and his accomplices who wanted to blow up London parliament and kill King James I in 1605, with comprehension exercises

You can dictate the text and the pupils draw the picture. A fun activity. Be careful to remind the pupils that thier drawings should be big as there are a lot of details.

A board game for students to review numbers and age. The die means "roll again" the bomb means "lose a turn". The space with number 2 and an arrow means "go back two spaces. The long arrows are "slides".



When I made it I had these rules in mind:

2-3 Ss per board.

When one student lands on a number the other Ss ask "How old are you?" and the student that landed on the number square has to answer using the number in the square ( "I'm ____ years old") .



It can be pretty versatile. Enjoy!
