A speaking activity for students to practice using BOTH, EITHER and NEITHER. The worksheet contains a series of activities, such as "going for long walks," or "watching romantic movies." The students must find one classmate who enjoys each activity, and one who does not. After answering all the questions, the students compare students' answers. For instance, a comparison might be made by writing: "both John and Jane like going to the beach," or "neither Sally nor Mark like singing."

This worksheet deals with English pronouns: both...and, either...or and neither...nor. It consists of some grammar explanation and four exercises. Key is provided on page two.

These worksheets are designed to help students gain a better understanding of words that can function as countable or uncountable nouns, and how the meaning changes. For example, as a countable noun 'chicken' means the bird but as an uncountable noun, it means the meat.



Students first write the correct word for each pair of pictures, then fill in the sentences using the same words, thinking about which form of the noun to use in each case.
