A master class of classic symphonic rock taking four songs from 'The Wall'. It is an easy approach to one of the best rock bands of all times.



Both Parts I and II are cloze texts. Part III is a sort of jigsaw exercise, and finally the students have to put the lines in order. Notice that the words 'brick(s)' and 'wall' are omitted in some way.



I have taken as a model the cover made by the metal band Korn, which can also be used for this sheet.

"What I Am" by Edie Brickell is the song used in this worksheet I created. It provides good practice fro Elem students learning and revising the present simple form of the verb "to be", as it has "am, is are" in it. I usually play the YouTube video or you could play it from a CD if you have it :)

Adverbs of frequency

A beautiful song for Valentine´s day. There a several exercises: fill the gaps, choose the right word, correct the mistakes, fill the gaps with given antonyms, complete the missing vowels and split a verse in words. You could also use it to introduce the 2nd conditional. I hope you like it! Happy Valentine´s Day :)
