I sometimes have the feeling learners are satisfied with their sentences, even when they're a short as a pig's tail. Well, this is a poster to remind them how to build nice long sentences, how to stretch them. I hope you find it useful!

I have prepared this worksheet to introduce the topic CITY vs BUILDINGS. Students are asked to match the images with the correct pictures. I used a template from a col·league key is included.

The main objective is to refresh the vocabulary related to buildings.

Instructions:

At least 2 players are needed, a coin and two pawns. 

One player has to toss a coin and say the word. If the answer given is correct, the player  will move one space ahead. If he/she doesn't know the answer, he/she won't move or will move one space behind.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
