This is a fun simple basic vocabulary building crossword puzzle about the 7 days of the week. It starts with Monday and ends with Sunday and it's ideally used for young children. It can be used for a class as a whole or one-on-one. This is a great way to practice writing and spelling skills and reinforce the brand new vocabulary that the kids just learned. You can also use this with flashcards or a physical calendar as well so the students can make connections and understand better the sentences/words on this worksheet.

They have to decide whether the sentences describe picture A or B. This is essentially a reading exercise. There are plenty more things going on in these pictures, so they could write some sentences themselves. If you look closely, you can see tiny numbers. This is because these are advent calendars. Halloween picture description

Cut the background and the wheel and add a round brad or a pin to make the wheel spin and hang it in your classroom as a fun calendar. It is also a good idea to laminate both parts so the wheel is more durable and looks more professional.



I made this wheel for students who start school in Semptember, thus there is a picture of a pencil next to this month. For this reason, the wheel might not be suitable for the students of the countries where school starts in a diffeent month.

Months of the year wheel

a worksheet that aims at revising weekdays months seasons festivities. It can be used with elementary students as well as with students with special educational needs. you can cut and laminate the last three pages thus creating a mini calendar. I hope you like it!

The aim of the handout is to make students memorize days of the week and spelling, and to work with the calendar. There is no solution because it is simple. There are tasks such as putting letters in the correct order to make a full word; using a calendar to understand which day is it; and finding words in a crossword.
